WCCC Electric Lineworker Scholarship Deadline Approaching

GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - (May 21, 2018) – The application deadline is approaching quickly for the 2018 Grand Valley Power Western Colorado Community College (WCCC) Electric Lineworker Scholarship. This scholarship opportunity is open to any applicant residing in a home served by Grand Valley Power and enrolling in the WCCC electric lineworker program.

Applications will be accepted through June 1, 2018. One (1) $2,000 scholarship will be granted to a student in 2018.

Awards may be used to cover any of the following costs at Western Colorado Community College:

* Tuition costs.

* On-campus room and board expenses during the academic year only.

* Appropriate allowances for books and fees.
