Today, a statewide order was issued by Governor Jared Polis, requiring individuals to wear masks while in indoor public spaces. All visitors to the Grand Valley Power office, will be required to wear a mask beginning Friday, July 17, 2020.
Children 10 and younger are exempt from the state order, as are individuals who cannot medically tolerate a face covering.
From the very beginning, our workforce and communities well-being and safety is our top priority. We ask that you bring your mask when you visit our location. You can find additional details on this order, from the Mesa County Public Health here: https://health.mesacounty.us/governor-polis-announces-statewide-mask-order/
Any visitors or members who cannot wear a mask or do not wish to wear a mask can call our office at (970) 242-0040 or can visit us online at gvp.org. We have a number of services available without ever having to step into our office, and we'll work diligently in assisting you.
Finally, we wish to thank you for your cooperation and understanding in wearing face coverings to protect your safety and of our employees. We also recognize the role we can play to help protect the health and well-being of the communities we serve by following the evolving guidance of health officials. We look forward to continuing to provide safe, reliable service for our 18,000 members.
