Let's celebrate Willie Wiredhand's 75th Birthday
in October
Color the page featuring the lifesize Willie Wiredhand sign in front of Grand Valley Power's headquarters, and enter the contest. The art submitted by one grand prize winner will be on the cover of GVP's Colorado Country Life magazine in October. Scroll down to download the coloring page and entry form.
Rules and Instructions
- No purchase necessary.
- Open to all ages. One entry per person.
- Coloring contest entries are due no later than 5:00 p.m. MST on August 29, 2025.
- Drop off your submission at Grand Valley Power | 845 22 Road | Grand Junction, CO 81505
- Entry MUST include the signed entry form to be considered complete.
- Entry artwork MUST be original and created by the entrant.
- First and second places will be announced for each age group. From those, the grand prize entry will be selected and used as the October 2025 GVP Colorado Country Life magazine cover art.
- Winners will be announced on September 10, 2025 via Facebook and Instagram. The name and age of the winners will be posted on the Grand Valley Power website and social media channels.
- All entries become the property of Grand Valley Power and may be used or reproduced in any manner and for any purpose by Grand Valley Power without additional consent and will not be returned.
- Grand Valley Power is not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries.
Prizes
First and second place prizes will be awarded in each of five age categories: 5 and under; 6 to 9; 10 to 13; 14-17; and 18+; Winners will be notified the week of September 1.
One entry will be selected as the grand prize winner to appear on the cover of the October issue of GVP's Colorado Country Life magazine.
